Topic: Grouping trades

Trade groups are a way to create overruling presets for certain trades. Trade groups allow you to categorize trades, and optionally, you can overrule ratio, capping and disallowed traffic flows for those groups.

Trade groups appear as separate block in the statistics overview screen, in the order displayed in the trade groups screen.

Creating a trade group

Go to the trades->trade groups screen. On this screen, at the bottom, you will have the option to create a new group.

Group name

The name for your new group, eg. 'Top trades'

Group code

The group code is very important. Make sure this is a simple name, for instance 'toptrades', with only letters. This code can be used in for example the trade rules and scanner scripts, to automaticly change a group for a trade.

Use group settings

If you enable the group settings, all trades within the group will respect the settings of that group. Eg. if you set the group ratio to 150% and enable the group settings, all trades in that group will get more traffic.

Ratio, 24h cap, 60Min cap, Disallowed traffic

24h cap - The max percentage of traffic to send to this trade within 24 hours
60Min cap - The max percentage of traffic to send to this trade within 1 hour
Ratio - This percentage is used in the algorithms, to give trades less, or more priority (default 100)
Disallowed traffic flows - Trades within this group may not send traffic to the selected trades/ groups

Exporting/ importing

It is possible to export, import with other TC servers, and synchronize trade groups with account on the same server. Keep in mind, that disallowed traffic flows arent imported.
